At first glance, retailing medical equipment, developing holiday homes worldwide and building tailor-made testing equipment may not seem to belong together. We see it differently. As globalisation slowed, supply chains came under pressure, German manufacturing faced a hard cycle and the pandemic restricted travel — ARK thrived precisely because of its diverse portfolio. One business area has consistently compensated for another, producing strong and stable performance.

Since 2014 our engineering work follows the certified requirements-engineering methods of the IREB — consistent process, repeatable quality.
Certified methods, certified products.
Our holistic process for machine-system development — in use since 2014 — is based on the certified methods of the International Requirements Engineering Board (IREB®). Our team of mechanical engineers, electrical engineers and software developers builds each solution on those methods, in both consulting and development.
Where required, we work with renowned Notified Bodies and have our developments certified to machine directives, CE and UL for the US market. Our expertise covers the Low-Voltage Directive EN/UL-61010 and the standard for electrically operated medical devices EN/UL-60601. Our automated test systems are TÜV-certified.
